Altered Chipboard Album

November 11, 2008 18:16 by PATRICIA
I covered a chipboard album using our new Birthday Party & Birthday Wish Spotlight papers.  With the scrolls already designed into the paper it was an easy choice to use these. To finish it I used Kurio chipboard letters, colored rub-ons and brown grosgrain ribbon to tie it closed.

Family tree by Angela

April 17, 2008 05:26 by Angela

Here's my album. I've made it for my son, Ryan. He's 3 years old, and most of my work includes him!!

This time I made a "family tree" but only with my side of the family. (we don't have any contact with his "father" so I don't have (and don't want) pictures of his side of family!)

1st picture is the front page. A portrait we made last year, with all the generations. From the left: Angela (that's me!), Joke (my mother, and yes, it's really a girls name here!!) Ryan (my son), Thijs (my brother), and my grandfather, Joop

2nd picture shows my grandparents, Ryan's Great Grandparents. He never got to know his great grandmother, because she died years before ryan was born. Still he knows her name when he sees a picture, without being told by any of us!!

3th picture: My parents, Ryans grandparents. I found a really old picture of my mother somewhere, couln't resist it!!

4th picture: My brother, his girlfriend an me. Bianca (my brothers girlfriend) doesn't really belong in the family tree, but If I had left her out, she would have gone mad, LOL!!

5th picture... Seems clear to me... MY SON!! I think the large picture on the left really gives the album a whole other style, and is in good contast with the next page, with all the tiny faces of my little boy!

Tag Album

April 11, 2008 12:33 by Jenny

Hello from New Zealand! I started creating this album from leftoverf of an AC kit. I have used Retro Collection papers and rubons. My owm ribbon and some scrap cardstock form my overflowing scrap box Smile   I am planning to write instructions and feature this projects at class workshops and parties. It would make a great make and take project.

My First Kleer Keepers Album

March 14, 2008 00:22 by Eleanor

I had SO MUCH FUN creating this album.  I'm not sure I made it the correct way it should be done, but oh well!  I still love it! :)  I think it's going to end up being an Anniversary gift for my parents! :) It's not quite complete yet...needs title and journaling added to it.  I used a glue stick for the parts that can be seen (can't see it in pictures, but up close you can...also, it is harder to notice on patterned paper than plain paper, no matter if it is white or colored), and Tombow adhesive for other parts.  Also tried using glue dots to see how they work and what they look like through the page, so I mostly used them for embellishments.  Pop dots too.

You know, I just ABSOLUTELY LOVE the BOLD colors/color combo from the Circle Shape Upz and just couldn't resist using them!!  (((  PLEASE ETTES...make a 12x12 set for us!!!!???!!!  PLEASE!!!??? Can you make 12x12 for the Home Shape Upz, too please?  I'm trying that one next...I think... )))  ;)  Anyway...thanks to all the ladies who gave their input on adhesives, and to all those who've already made a Kleer Keeperz Album...you all inspired me! :)  Now to get over my fear of trying to use mod podge or the diamond glaze.  :]

Memories Kleer Keeperz

March 4, 2008 21:24 by MARY

This was a really fun challenge to create.  I used a Kleer Keeperz album and the new Memories Hot Fudge kit.  I love the paper in this kit! I also enjoyed the mental game of figuring out the page layouts and how they would interact and affect each other.

From my March '08 newsletter:

"Take a 3-Dimensional dive into the soft blue and deep brown of this theme. The cream colored highlights and an intricate floral design add new depths to this one-of-a-kind project."

 Hope you like it!!

Love-Tressie Circles

February 23, 2008 19:19 by KRISTA
I used black and white photos in this layout and added a heart, a love and a straight line memory gem. I journaled on the smaller circles.
